Bitter821 is a Synology system integrator founded in 2023 that provides Synology licenses and C2 public cloud. You could find us in Synology > Where to Buy > Japan > System Integrator. Now it’s managed by Taiwan Partner and Synology experts, SynoPower Club.
Co-Founder: Ric Hsu
Bitter821 one co-founder is Ric Hsu, a Taiwanese investor who has lived in Osaka, migrated to Japan from Taiwan for 3 years. Ric graduated from National Taiwan University with a degree in international trade.
Three years before moving to Japan, he was introduced to Synology DiskStation by his friend, Adair Hsu. He was amazed that such a small device could stably back up all of his all Apple devices. In late 2023, he founded Bitter821 with the hope that all Japanese users could enjoy the convenience of Synology.
At the same time, he also invited Adair Hsu as another co-founder, who had worked at Synology Taiwan headquarters for 14 years, to serve as a technical consultant to serve Synology customers in Japan with enriched experience. Now Adair Hsu is a housemaker and one co-founder of Synology Taiwan online reseller SynoPower Club.
